We resist.
We declare our resistance to all forms of racism, homophobia, misogyny, religious intolerance, discrimination based on national identity, scapegoating of immigrants, and political and social intimidation.
The Resistance Cross symbol is drawn from the the Cross of Lorraine (Croix de Lorraine) which was the symbol of the Resistance to the Fascist occupation of France during World War II. We salute those who have carried on this struggle before. We will resist those who undermine the core values of the American ideal: respect for others, tolerance of dissent and difference, common security without preference, human dignity.
We have no spokesperson or leader. We have no authority over others. We have our honor which inspires our capacity to resist.
